MASSAGE CREATIONS - The first step to relax and heal

Swedish massage
Swedish Massage is one of the most common forms of massage therapy. The masseur/masseusse focuses on the superficial layers of muscles to which various degrees of pressure is applied. Gliding strokes, kneading and friction are used to ease muscular fatigue, reduce emotional and physical stress and  improve circulation and joint mobility.

Deep tissue massage
In deep tissue massage slower, more forceful strokes are used, aimed at the deeper layers of the muscle and fascia. Elbows and fingers are used as well as hands and forearms to release muscle tension and chronic knots.  DTM can break up the toxins accumulated in the muscle tissue, improve blood circulation and restore oxygen supply to the muscles thus reducing pain and joint stiffness and improving muscle flexibility.

Lomi Lomi Nui- Hawaiian Temple Massage
Developed over centuries and practised within a wider spiritual tradition of the Hawaiian islands, this highly revered art of healing works on the premise that physical illness is the result of suppressed emotion or spiritual disharmony and that negative thoughts and obstructive patterns of behaviour have deleterious effect on the muscles and tissues of the body. While relieving musculoskeletal discomfort the body's energies are brought into balance. Unlike any other body treatment Lomi Lomi Nui makes full use of forearms and the entire body is massaged simultaneously in a continuous, flowing movement, with a generous use of heated oils. Most of the body is exposed during the treatment while the recipient's modesty is maintained by a towel. Lomi Lomi Nui will help to combat stress, anger and anxiety. The treatment will leave you elated, relaxed yet energized and connected for days to come.

 Foot reflexology
Otherwise known as foot reflex or zone therapy, this popular form of treatment works on the principle that there are refelex areas in the feet that correspond to all glands and organs in the body. In other words the whole body structures are mapped on the feet (as well as hands and ears) and that by using pressure on a reflex, imbalances can be effectively treated. To work on a reflex is to activate the reason for having a symptom. Reflexology promotes  the state of relaxation and wellbeing and is best suited for functional disorders, headaches, digestive problems, stress related conditions and hormonal imbalances.
